Terms of Service
Effective June 11, 2026 · Last updated June 11, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Kredmark (the “Service”), operated by Kredmark (“Kredmark”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What Kredmark is — and is not
Kredmark lets you create a profile, record and organize your professional licenses and certifications, generate a QR code linking to a public profile page, and optionally receive renewal reminders.
Kredmark is not a licensing authority, accreditation body, government agency, background-check provider, or official registry. We do not issue, certify, validate, endorse, or guarantee the authenticity, validity, accuracy, currency, or legal status of any credential, license, certification, or any information you or others submit. Any “verification,” status indicator, badge, or link to an issuing or accrediting body is provided for convenience only and is not a guarantee. The official source of truth for any credential is always the issuing authority, and you and any third party must independently confirm credential status directly with that authority. Reliance on information displayed through the Service is solely at your own risk.
2. Your information is your responsibility
- You are solely responsible for all information, images, documents, and content you submit, and for ensuring it is accurate, current, lawful, and that you have the right to submit and display it.
- You are solely responsible for keeping your credentials, expiration dates, and renewal status accurate and up to date. Kredmark does not monitor, audit, or confirm your information, and is not responsible if information is incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or not updated by you.
- You must not upload documents or credentials that are not your own, impersonate any person or entity, or submit false, forged, or misleading information.
3. Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee
Renewal reminders (including any 90/60/30/7/1-day notices) are an optional convenience. We do not guarantee that any reminder will be generated, delivered, timely, received, or acted upon, and reminders may fail for reasons including incorrect dates, email delivery issues, or service interruptions. You remain solely responsible for tracking and renewing your own credentials.Kredmark has no liability for any lapsed, expired, suspended, or revoked credential, missed deadline, fine, penalty, loss of work, or any other consequence, whether or not a reminder was sent.
4. Public profiles
You control which information is published on your public profile. Information you make public can be viewed, copied, and used by anyone who accesses your profile or scans your QR code. We are not responsible for, and disclaim all liability arising from, any third party’s access to, use of, or reliance on information you choose to make public. Uploaded credential images shown publicly are processed by an automated redaction step; we do not guarantee that redaction removes all sensitive information, and you are responsible for what you choose to upload and publish.
5. Identity verification
The Service may offer optional identity verification performed by a third-party provider. That provider processes your government-issued identification under its own terms and privacy policy. A successful or unsuccessful verification result does not constitute a guarantee of any person’s identity, eligibility, or credentials, and we disclaim liability for the provider’s services and results.
6. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information, keep your authentication methods (such as passkeys) secure, and you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
7. Subscriptions, payments, and physical products
- Paid plans and add-ons are billed through our payment processor on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly) until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges.
- You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable and partial periods are not prorated.
- We may change prices or plan features prospectively with notice. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
- Physical products (such as printed cards) are produced and shipped by third-party providers; estimated delivery times are not guaranteed, and we are not liable for printing errors arising from information you supplied, carrier delays, or loss in transit beyond any remedy offered at our discretion.
8. Acceptable use
Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
9. Intellectual property & your license to us
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Kredmark and protected by law. You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Kredmark a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display your content as necessary to operate and provide the Service, including on your public profile.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any information, credential, or verification is accurate, current, or reliable.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Kredmark AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, WORK, EMPLOYMENT, OR LICENSURE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. This includes, without limitation, any damages arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information; a lapsed, expired, or unrenewed credential; any failure of a reminder; or any third party’s reliance on a profile. Our total aggregate liability for all claims will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Kredmark from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date, and your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, United States.
